Having regularly trained for three weekends in May, the University of Cambodia Football Club (UCFC) co-organized a Friendly Match with the University of Puthisastra (UP) on 26 May 2013 at 02:00 pm at Domreysor football field. The objective of the match was to build a stronger relationship between the two universities, as well as to have a practice match before the main tournament.
The game started at exactly 2:00pm. After 30 minutes of the first half of the match, Mr. Leam Theara, the striker wearing number 10, scored one goal for UCFC. After this, three more goals were scored by UCFC in the second half of the match. These goals were by the striker Leam Theara in 55th minute; midfielder Mr. Aing Bunny wearing number 7 in the 67th minute; and then striker Leam Theara again in the 85th minute. The final result was that, UCFC beat UP four goals to nil.
The match ended happily for both University teams. What was more, the coach and advisor of UCFC provided feedback on strengths and weaknesses for individual players.
