H.E. Dr. Haruhisa Handa’s Appointment By the Royal Government of Cambodia

H.E. DR. HARUHISA HANDA’S APPOINTMENT

BY THE ROYAL GOVERNMENT OF CAMBODIA

 

H.E. Dr. Haruhisa Handa, Chancellor of University of Cambodia; Chairman and Founder of International Foundation for Arts and Culture

 

Phnom Penh, 2 November 2013: The University of Cambodia (Board of Trustees, Board of Advisors, the Management Team, Faculty, Staff and Students) wishes to extend its warmest congratulations to H.E. Dr. Haruhisa Handa, Chancellor of The University of Cambodia, Leader of World Mate, and Chairman of Worldwide Support for Development (WSD), for his appointment as the Adviser to the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the rank of Senior Minister. This new appointment is considered to be a promotion in relations to H.E. Dr. Handa’s previous appointments as Adviser to the Royal Government of Cambodia, with the rank of Minister, and Personal Adviser to the Prime Minister.

 

The recent appointment was made by a Royal Decree, which was signed by His Majesty Preah Karuna Preah Bat Samdech Preah Baromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, at the Royal Palace, on 18 October 2013. The Royal Decree on the appointment of H.E. Dr. Handa was released by the Royal Government of Cambodia, as it was signed by H.E. Soy Sokha, Secretary-General of the Royal Government of Cambodia, on 22 October 2013.

 

At the same time, H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Minister Delegate Attached to the Prime Minister in charge of Foreign Affairs and ASEAN, and President of The University of Cambodia, would like to extend his warmest and most sincere felicitations to H.E. Dr. Haruhisa Handa on this important appointment, which is a clear recognition of the work and contributions of H.E. Dr. Handa to Cambodia and Cambodian people, through his various projects in Cambodia.

 

The University of Cambodia is indeed very proud of H.E. Dr. Handa’s further achievements and recognition for his works to advance the development of Cambodia. The University of Cambodia would like to wish H.E. Dr. Handa more successes, the best of health and longevity.
