Technology Boom Hits UC

In the attempt to promote and strengthen cooperation in the field of information technology the University of Cambodia and Taiji Computer Corporation Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding.

In an afternoon signing ceremony, the MOU was signed by University President, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn and Vice President of TCCL, Mr. Wang Xinzhong in the presence of representatives from both institutions. The signing establishes a cooperative working relationship between UC and TCCL. Under this Memorandum, UC and TCCL aims to enhance technological capacity building of the University of Cambodia staff, faculty, and students.

The University aims to be a pioneer and leader in the field of technology. This cooperative relationship with one of China’s leading private sector information technology and computer software companies is a stepping stone towards build a state of the art University of Cambodia campus where technological innovation drives knowledge and understanding.
