The University of Cambodia (UC) has received approval from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MoEYS) to conduct final dissertation defenses for three doctoral candidates from February 28 to March 1, 2025. The details of the candidates and their dissertation topics are, as follows:


Our Activities
On 3 May 2022, the team of advisors of The University of Cambodia (UC) met with a team of new leadership of the UC Student Senate ( UCSS) which was just recently elected by the study body of the university. The team of advisors was led by H.E. Samraing Kamsan, Member of the Board of Trustees and Senior Advisor to the President of The University of Cambodia. The new UCSS leadership was led by Mr. Kao Kim Panya, the newly elected president of UCSS. The meeting discussed, among other things, a new work plan, a list of proposed projects to be approved and supported by UC, a working modality as well as the desire of UC to see UCSS being fully activated after more than years of slow down because of the COVID-19 pandemic. UC wishes the new team of UCSS leadership a great success in carrying out its role and responsibility, its operations and activities, and its programs and projects.
On 30 April 2022: The University of Cambodia (UC) organized a three-hour seminar on the “Ideal of Internship: How to Transform Yourself and to Seize All Learning Opportunities.” The main speaker at the seminar was Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, President of The University of Cambodia, who took the opportunity to share his lifetime experiences and to give much inspiration to all participants, which included students and staff.

On 24 April 2022, the Soft Skills and Leadership Development Center (SSLDC) of The University of Cambodia organized a short course, “How to Keep Students Highly Motivated in Learning.”
Today (23 April 2022), The University of Cambodia (UC) is supporting The University Student Senate (UCSS) to organize its annual election to elect a new team of leadership. UCSS was established in 2005 (17 years ago); it is a well-established student organization.
