Handa Health Conference “Is Ebola a Threat to Cambodia?”

On February 16th, 2015, at 8:30am, the University of Cambodia, in collaboration with the Handa Foundation, will host a Handa Health Conference on, “Is Ebola a Threat to Cambodia?” This health conference, featuring Professor Baron Peter Piot, a co-discoverer of the Ebola Virus Disease, will be hosted at the UC Conference Center. The conference will discuss the question, “Is Ebola a Threat to Cambodia?” In addition to a keynote speech by Professor Baron Peter Piot, Director of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM), the conference will also include remarks by H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Founder and President of the University of Cambodia, H.E. Dr. Or Vandine, Director General of Health of the Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Cambodia, remarks by Sir Timothy Lankester, the Chairman of Trustees for the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Mr. Kevin O’Brien, Country Director of the Handa Foundation, and a question and answer session.
