Mr. Shiao appointment aims to support The University of Cambodia based on:

• The need for the development of The University of Cambodia
• The imperative to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the work of the different offices and colleges under UC
• The need to ensure effective coordination and implementation of the work of The University of Cambodia, particularly on university expansion

The University of Cambodia’s Board of Trustees has also appointed Mr. Bu Guangsheng as Adviser to the President to provide management and development advice in relation to issues relating to the University’s development and other matters identified by the Board.

Further advisors, such as those specializing in higher education and development, will be appointed in the coming year.
